Dance Without Boundaries provides a dance program for youth with special needs who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the beauty and joy of dance!

Upcoming Classes

Join us for dance classes for ages 8-22!

During class, students practice stretching, learn choreography, work on across-the-floor movement,

create their own dances, and have fun!

We are happy to answer any questions about the classes - please email us: dancewoboundaries@gmail.com.

Fall Session

Join us for six classes where each week we will build on what we've learned, work on choreography, bond with each other, and have fun!

Classes are on five Sundays:

October 5, 12, 19, 26

November 2

10:30-11:15 am

Fall/Winter Session

Join us for six classes where we'll

continue to dance and learn from each other!

We'll also have a possible performance opportunity with the Roco  performance in January.

Classes are on Sundays:

Nov 16 & 23, Dec 7 & 14, Jan 11 & 18

10:30-11:15 am

About Us

After volunteering with Project Awareness and Special Sports (PAASS), we realized that there was a lack of arts programming for youth with special needs. With the support of PAASS and our dance studio, Roco Dance, we began hosting dance classes for youth in the community in 2023.

Teachers

Tess Belger

Tess is a senior at Tamalpais High School and has been studying dance for seven years. She is a member of Body Language, the senior dance company at Roco Dance, where she also teaches contemporary dance. Tess has completed teacher training with Axis Dance Company, one of the nation’s most renowned ensembles featuring disabled, non-disabled, d/Deaf, and neurodiverse performers.

Edison Steinman

Edison is a member of RoCo's company Body Language and is a student at University High School of San Francisco. She started dancing at the age of four and currently takes ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop classes. Edison is passionate about dance and sharing it with others.
